‘I think the non-communicable disease training I received was very good because there are often barriers between health professionals so training helps to standardise the service provided to clients; patients will receive the maximum benefit from these standard guidelines. The training has made me more confident in treating patients when I’m diagnosing, prescribing and requesting investigations. The different services at the centre are now working more closely together and there has been an orientation on NCDs for all staff to increase their awareness so the whole health centre has benefitted.’
